Commercial solar proposal platform · Invite-only beta

Stop building
proposals.
Start closing them.

Your best rep is spending four hours building every commercial solar proposal — not pitching, not closing. WattFoundry cuts it to eight minutes of rep time, start to branded PDF.

The math is insane

Forty hours a rep loses to paperwork — every month.

For a shop closing ten deals a month, every extra hour per proposal is four full days of rep time gone to copy-paste. We built the platform that ends that.

How it works

Four steps in the forge. Eight minutes of clicks.

Smelt the bills. Cast the proposal. Hammer it into your shop's shape. Quench and deliver. Every step your team used to run manually is now either automated or a single click.

Smelt · intake

Drop a folder of utility bills. AI melts any format — scanned PDFs, phone photos, interval CSVs — down into structured load data across most major US utilities.

Cast · build

The platform pours a complete proposal: roof design, modeling, ITC stacking, lender financing, branded PDF, customer portal. Out of the mold in minutes.

Hammer · sharpen

Take it to the anvil. Edit any line item, tweak the pricing, customize the layout, swap branding, add exclusions. Your shop, your stamp, your edge.

Quench · deliver

One branded link goes to your customer. They review on their phone, tap Accept. The proposal cools, sets, and ships — no PDF email threads, no version chaos.

The 8-minute build

From bills to signed proposal. Eight minutes.

Every milestone below is the actual app, pulled live from a working portfolio (anonymized for the screenshots). Click any timestamp to see what the rep is looking at at that moment.

Drop the bills.

Paste an address, drop a folder of utility bills — PDFs, phone photos, interval CSVs. The parser identifies the utility, matches the rate code, and starts pulling out a year's worth of consumption.

Bills parsed. Rates detected. Rep confirms.

Twelve months of kWh and $ per meter, the rate schedule matched against the live rate library, and the year's billing rolled up. Rep takes a quick look and clicks Continue.

Trace the roof.

Click the roof faces on satellite imagery. The designer places panels with keep-out zones, tilt, and shade-aware spacing. Adjust the count if needed; the kW and offset update live.

Every line, editable. Even portfolios.

Frequently asked

The short version.

Why not just use a proposal tool we already have?
Proposal tools are calculators. You still spend hours per deal copy-pasting bills, entering rate schedules, configuring arrays, running financial models, and dropping it all into a PDF. WattFoundry automates the busywork end-to-end so you get a customer-ready proposal in minutes, not hours. You're paying for the hours back — not another calculator subscription.
How does WattFoundry save me time per proposal?
Building a commercial proposal manually takes hours. Our pipeline runs smelt (bill parsing) → cast (roof design + automated build) → hammer (your shop's edits and branding) → quench (customer link) in minutes of hands-on time. Across a month's deal flow, that's days of sales capacity freed up.
Do you support my utility and state?
Most major US investor-owned utilities are parsed out of the box. Any rate, anywhere in the US, can be entered manually in under two minutes. If your utility isn't auto-parsed, email us — we add new ones regularly.
Who owns the proposals I generate?
You do. PDFs live on your branded domain (Enterprise) or a WattFoundry subdomain. Customer portal links stay active as long as your account is active. Export the full proposal JSON any time from Settings.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14-day trial on any plan, full feature access, no credit card required. You can generate up to 3 proposals during trial.
Can I change or cancel plans later?
Yes. Downgrade, upgrade, or cancel from Settings → Billing any time. Switching to a longer term applies the savings to your next renewal; canceling stops auto-renewal but keeps your account active through the end of the paid period.
